Dark Neon is a small video archive run by three people who kept shooting after the jobs that paid for the gear dried up. Everything published here was made with equipment that fits in one car.

What gets published

Documentary work, short films, live recordings and the production notes behind them. If a piece was made for a client it is marked as such, and if a piece was paid for by a sponsor that appears on the page itself rather than in the description.

How the archive is organised

Categories describe the kind of work. Tags describe how it was made. Most people arrive through a tag, which is why the tag descriptions are written to stand on their own.
